2023
SO IMPRESSED with the Southern Tease teams that we had. We were extremely lucky to have two teams of Southern Tease provide our hair and makeup services for our 2-day wedding celebration! A smaller team handled our church wedding celebration perfectly. Then for the second day, Southern Tease provided 12 hair and makeup services. Also super important was the fact that the bridal party didn’t have to start getting ready until 10am, which was a dream because I’ve heard of people needing to start at 530am with larger bridal parties. Everyone was so happy with their looks afterwards! So much so that I think some girls took note for their future weddings! I also want to point out that they provided equally amazing services to all bridesmaids, mother of bride/groom, grandmother, and the bride! And they were all the same price! Cannot recommend Southern Tease enough! Huge shoutout to Megan, Gianna, Melanie, and an extra special shoutout to Marlinda for being there both days AND giving me perfect bridal hairstyles! My hair kept its curl all night and I felt so beautiful thanks to her!
Southern Tease was fantastic!! If I ever had questions leading up to the wedding, they were quick to respond. For my trial run, I had pictures for inspiration and they did even better than the pictures. Then, on the day of the wedding, they were on time and everything went so smooth. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and even though my trial run was amazing, they somehow outdid themselves and my hair and makeup looked even better!! The whole team is friendly and easy to talk to. I was really nervous to book the right hair and makeup team because I didn’t want to look over the top. But I’m SO glad I went with Southern Tease!!! They are fantastic and I will recommend them to everybody I can!!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Stop looking now, because Southern Tease is incredible! I hired them for my wedding makeup this past weekend and have nothing but great things to say about them! From the makeup and hair trial a couple months before to spray tans to wedding hair and makeup, they are a one-stop shop! Lindsey did my wedding makeup and some of my bridesmaids/and the MOB/MOG and she did an amazing job! I showed her my inspiration and she took it beyond and made me look and feel like a princess! Gianna was the makeup artist for my other bridesmaids and I heard nothing but wonderful things from all of them! She also did my spray tan for my wedding and it was glowing! Not orange at all! Rochelle was our hair stylist and she killed it! From short hair to long with extensions, Rochelle made all of my bridesmaids look like queens!!!! I cannot recommend Southern Tease enough!! And I'm also crying right now even harder thinking about what you did for my baby sister ~ Shes normally self conscious but you made her feel so comfortable and protected in the first moment of her life wearing make up and having her hair done like that. I don't think yall will truly understand what yall did for us all. You don't JUST do peoples hair and make up. You open up a door for all of us to feel absolutely beautiful and feel like we can walk tall in our own skin.

I hired Southern Tease SUPER early in my planning and I am SO happy I did. I was lucky enough to be assigned Megan, Reagin, and Marlinda. Each of them were super sweet, prepared, and Talented. Each did a fabulous job on me and my 8 bridesmaids. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Jaci who helped make scheduling my trials a breeze. Lastly, I want to especially shoutout Marlinda who I had stick around to touch up my hair. I had no Idea that moments before walking down the aisle I would be sequestered in the bridal suite alone. Marlinda being the awesome person she is; instead of staying in the bathroom with her hair tools, attempted to sit with me comfort me and provide advice. Wow! Please book Southern Tease for your wedding! Megan was incredible with everything - her communication is top notch. She works with you and your comfort level with makeup and hair. She has an incredible team! Melissa - dang girl you can do hair like no other! My bridal suite was full of laughter as she made each of my bridesmaids comfortable with each do! Nicole - sweet, sweet Nicole. This woman went above and beyond! She made me look like the queen I am. She even helped me with my veil and held my train down the steps until I made my walk down the aisle! She stayed for touch ups and had impeccable timing! A boss woman and mom! These magnificent humans also took such tender care of my mother! My mother by God's grace was able to be at our wedding. In the midst of stage 4 cancer, they provided such gentle hair and makeup to her comfort. They helped enhance her beauty and became her personal hype team. Ladies, thank you! Megan made scheduling and communication a breeze. She was quick to respond and very flexible when I needed to add a last minute touch up (which I HIGHLY recommended!) I had the pleasure to have Brittany as our make-up artist who made my entire bridal party and both my mom and mother-in-law look absolutely radiant!! With many tears and the Texas heat we still received many compliments on how beautiful we looked. I’m forever grateful for Megan and Brittany for making us all look our absolute best.

Megan and her team were incredible. I had to adjust numbers for make up and hair several times and Megan was more than accommodating. Also, a month and a half before my wedding I was in a horrible car accident that left me with several large scars on my face. They are not easily hidden and I was so nervous about covering them for the wedding. Megan worked her magic and you couldn't not see them! I was so impressed with how lightweight the make up felt and how long it lasted. All of my bridesmaids hair and make up look incredible and held tight as we danced through the night. So thankful to have had the opportunity to have Megan and Adrianne there on my wedding day.
Megan and her team are the absolute best!! We had a massive wedding party and southern tease came in and completed EVERYONES makeup by so fast and everyone looked STUNNING! I cried so much on my wedding day and my bridal makeup looked perfect all day and night!! Amazing! Southern Tease is hands down the best and Megan responds so fast and very easy to work with! Southern Tease was the best part of my day getting ready... everything else was so chaotic except them. They showed up ready, on time, friendly, and patient. The comments about how beautiful my bridesmaids were--- everyone was stunned and obsessed. They really brought out their beauty- I had never seen their make up done so well. I also had a lot of sweet comments & I keep saying it but I really had no idea I could ever feel that pretty until they did my hair and make up. I was so worried about my make up fading off or not being seen well in pictures---and it was most certainly seen and didn't fade all night! My hair I was worried too because I had a halo and knew we would be dancing. They secured it so well and it blended perfectly with how it was styled. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about the girls that work for this team! It was the best part of our day!

As a Bride from New Orleans, I knew that a glam team would be a top priority for the big day! I have worked as an Event Planner & executed many weddings and have been a bridesmaid a dozen times. I could really appreciate the importance that a timely, talented hair/makeup team is to a successful “getting ready” time! After having decided to have a wedding in my Groom's hill-country hometown of New Braunfels, I was worried I wouldn't find a glam team that fit my esthetic. I was also planning our wedding from our new home in WA state so I had limited time to meet with vendors! I scoured The Knot & found Southern Tease. From the first email to the wedding day Megan was prompt in her responses, caring in her approach & open for all of my ideas! Megan & I agreed that a test look would be best since I would be in NB such a limited time & seeing her work in person would be the best way to decide if she was a good fit for me. During our consultation Megan listened to the vision I had for my Bridal “look” & created a lovely look on the spot! Megan and I came up with a a plan to accommodate all of the Maids, moms, & ladies in my wedding. Megan completely understood that my ladies would want everything from full glam to simple pretty. She was not phased & ensured me that her team’s goal was to make each lady feel beautiful, whatever that meant. Her team was prompt & ready to go upon arriving. Megan and the makeup team work with airbrush makeup that LASTS all night! We started early in the morning to be ready for 2pm for pictures. My makeup made it through the hour ceremony, the 6+ hour reception, the afterparty and the 107 degree TX HEAT! The airbrush looked fantastic in photos & the video! Megan had prepared a schedule beforehand so every lady was in the right place at the right time to get the look they wanted. She made sure her team knew ahead of time what look each lady was after and no one was told “I can’t do that”. As someone this had happened to, I knew NOTHING is more frustrating than paying for a look and not getting what you want. My own hairstyle was intricate & I was very specific about the style that I envisioned. I didn’t have a photo of exactly what it should look like, instead I had a mishmash of ideas. Having not been able to do a hair test with Megan’s team before the wedding day, I was honestly petrified about my Bridal hair outcome. I normally do intricate hairstyle to myself & am meticulous, however I wanted to relax on the day. Since I was planning my wedding from far away, I couldn’t make it to NB for a hair test & my hair was one of the things I knew the Groom would most appreciate or dislike. The INCREDIBLE, side braid hairstyle that was created for me was more than I could have imagined. The style included a headpiece that was woven within the braid. I was complimented the entire day/evening on it and the look HELD all day/night! Megan & Southern Tease are the only glam squad to use if you’re getting married in the New Braunfels area! The team is on time, skilled, listens to each lady, gives final touches to everyone before they go, & cares that each woman feels their most beautiful, from Bride on. Megan is a caring vendor and was available & understanding each and every time I reached out. She handled a pre-wedding misunderstanding like a best friend & made me feel like I was her most important Bride! Don’t miss out on the chance to work with Megan and the Southern Tease team!
Okay, seriously? 5 stars could NEVER be enough for this glam team of incredible women. From the get go, Megan was so helpful, understanding, and organized. Let me just tell you, I was definitely not the most organized bride. Meaning, a week before Southern Tease was set to come out to my venue, I added 6 girls for services AND another location. Not only was Megan accommodating, she updated the schedule almost immediately and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience! Not one email, text or phone-call went unanswered, and she was so attentive and wonderful the entire time. Melissa was my hairstylist, and I swear that girl worked magic with my hair. I’ve never felt more beautiful or confident than I did after spending my day with Southern Tease. I can’t brag enough about this team—every single one of the girls are just absolutely incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better glam squad to spend the day with me and my girls. Seriously, if you’re even THINKING of booking, save yourself the trouble and just do it. Not only will you have a fantastic experience, you’ll leave with a whole squad of new friends. No one will kill it like these girls will!
Very warm and inviting people! I would say my hair and make up came out absolutely flawless. Even made my mom look absolutely stunning despite the fact that she does not like to put on a whole lot of make up. The elements really put my make up and hair to the test and I would say that it went extremely well. My husband who was sweating profusely at the alter, the high humidity, and my own personal tears throughout the ceremony and reception did not cause it to even remotely budge. I am thoroughly impressed! My photos came out so beautiful!

I was above and beyond impressed with Southern Tease! They were punctual and we weren’t running late not once! We were running early the whole time which is so completely nice given all the scenarios that are thrown at you on your wedding day but our hair and makeup was definitely not a worry of mine on our big day! I ended up changing both my hair and makeup from what I had done for my trial session and Megan and her team were completely prepared. I was given so many compliments asking who had done my makeup! I absolutely loved my makeup! It stood out so well in all the pictures! My hair was definitely a worry of mine because I had gotten 5 bags of mermaid extensions put in on top of my already thick hair which for me now takes me twice the amount of time it’s used to take me without extensions! Megan’s team had no struggle with my full mane and it stayed flawless and in tact the whole night! Along with my makeup! I actually slept in my makeup ( it was a long night) and cuz I wanted to test it out to see if it’d last ha and it did! My sister, was also very happy with her makeup along with everyone else. She was the one I was most worried about because she doesn’t wear much makeup and is very picky and particular but she absolutely loved how her makeup and hair turned out! I am so grateful for the stress free experience I had with Southern Tease! Thank y’all so much!
Megan was such an amazing find for me. My husband and I are from Houston, but we were getting married in a tiny town on our ranch with the nearest city being 60 miles away. Getting vendors I knew to drive 180 miles was next to impossible. While searching on The Knot I came across Southern Tease and instantly became obsessed with Megan's work. She was so sweet and from my trial to the big day was extremely helpful and kept in constant contact with me. She made my entire bridal party look natural yet absolutely stunning! My trial was in August and even on a record hot day in Texas, I dabbed the airbrush makeup and it lasted straight on in to the night! I can't thank her enough for her kindness and patience with our crazy bunch! I wish I could get married every weekend to have her do my makeup! Thank you Megan!
Megan and her team of hair and make up artists are all super talented!! Me and my bridesmaids were all so happy with how our hair and make up turned out. They were very efficient (but not rushed) and we even finished up ahead of schedule. Megan made sure that she was the one who did my make up and the hair stylist was also the same person who did my hair trial which was very comforting for me since they knew exactly what I wanted. Megan made sure that I LOVED my look, not just liked it. She wanted every girl to be completely satisfied. I highly recommend Southern Tease!

Megan is seriously THE BEST! I'm not usually the type that is comfortable letting others do my makeup but she was so easy to trust and did a beautiful job! She knew exactly what I wanted, gave her honest opinion (which I loved), was completely understanding when making changes and was so much fun to work with. The wedding day included rain and the lights even went out. Megan wasn't only prepared and calm, she was like a best friend assuring me everything was perfectly ok! If you ever need your makeup (or hair!) done for any occasion, I HIGHLY recommend Southern Tease!
Okay, I LOVE Megan and her staff!! I went to my trial having absolutely no vision for my big day, and Joy & Megan made me look fabulous and I felt so comfortable with them. I booked them for my wedding and my girls and I looked PERFECT. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and so did my bridesmaids. All of my girls commented on how sweet and fun Megan & Joy were to have in our bridal suite - they are seriously a great team. I woke up on my wedding day and wanted a completely different look than my trial for both hair and my makeup, and they took exactly what I wanted and made it even better than I could've hoped. The owner, Megan, is awesome with communication, very professional, and exceptionally talented. I am all over the place and so indecisive, and Megan was so so patient with me. I'm picky with my makeup and I can't think of one thing I would've changed. I seriously cannot recommend Southern Tease enough!! Love them! If I have another event in the SA area I will 100% be booking Southern Tease :)

I cannot possibly recommend Megan and her staff more. Crazy talented, super professional and very fun! My bridal party and I had a great time with them in the morning and we all absolutely loved our hair and makeup. I was not a bride that knew exactly what I wanted, nor am I one that wears a lot of makeup, but even with my terrible cuing I somehow got exactly what I wanted! And my bridesmaids who knew exactly what they wanted also came out perfect. PS the air brush makeup is a MUST in the Texas heat. We got married August 6th (outdoor ceremony) and I was definitely sweating but you couldnt see a thing. Hair and makeup stayed perfect all day and night! Hire them!

She provides the highest quality, full-on professional airbrush makeup. I have shot several clients on very hot humid days and their makeup remained amazing the entire time.
